"turbulence" is a live audio mix including voice, instruments, tapes and live audio feeds from remote locations that centers around the idea of turbulence. Participating artists include composer/double-reed performer Joseph Celli performing on the Yamaha WX7 midi breath controller; composer/performer Nick Didkovsky on guitar; performing artist and writer Brenda Nielson, spoken work; writer and tape composer Helen Thorington; and composers Brooks Williams and Beo Morales.

The mix will be fed from el NET and Harmonic Ranch studio in New York City to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's List Visual Arts Center and to the Internet as a RealAudio feed.
